Harper House has expanded our digital photography capabilities with the addition of the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II. For photographers, this camera is a dream come true; for our customers, it's a dream in the making.

The Canon's full frame 16.7 mega pixels image sensor and the next generation DIGIC II image processor is a remarkable combination of resolution and speed. "We've never seen anything like this in the history of digital SLRs", says Chris Fithian, our photography supervisor.

Superior color and precise detail are two of the qualities that make the Mark II stand out. A capture rate of up to 32 consecutive shots at speeds up to 4 frames per second makes it ideal for moving subjects such as fashion models. The shutter speed can be increased to 1/8000 second to stop action with lightning speed, or it can be slowed to 30 full seconds for those very special effects, turning a good shot in to a great one.

The Canon 1Ds Mark II is compatible with over 50 EF lenses, in addition to the entire line of EOS accessories, including the new Wireless File Transmitter, which means the photographer is no longer tethered to a computer. This new mobility results in an expanded freedom of expression when it comes to achieving spontaneous/editorial images.
