As Creative Retouch Artist, you will draw upon you technical skills in Adobe Photoshop, as well as your creative artistic abilities to ful fill challenging creative visions from our high-end agency clientele. You will join a powerful team, working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your skills will be put to the test and depended on. A discriminating and tasteful eye for realism and details is a must, as is a good base of color management knowledge. A background in illustration is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Illustrative, photo-realistic retouching ability
- Strong compositing ability
- Strong aesthetic understanding and aesthetic knowledge
- Critical color correction (plus or minus 1 or 2 percent changes)
- Complex Photoshop layers management (up to 70 layers in a single file)
- Large file management (up to 4Gb or more in a single file)
- Proficient in Macintosh OSX Tiger and Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Minimum of 10 years Adobe Photoshop experience required
- Agency and National Account Experience
- Ability to perform basic proof output through QuarkXpress or Adobe InDesign
- Strong organization skills
- Concise communication skills
- Good file/server structural skills and naming conventions
- Neatness
- Must be a team player
- Must take art direction well
